Module 5 of 5 — Your Playbook

Your Intentional Athlete Playbook

This is where everything comes together. You'll revise your identity statement, make five commitments to yourself, and build a playbook you can show your coaches and parents — proof of the work you've done and the athlete you're becoming.

Identity Statement — Revised

In Module 1, you wrote your first identity statement. You've done a lot since then — explored your motivation, trained your focus, built your self-talk tools, and created your daily system. Read your original statement and write a new version that reflects who you are now.

Your Original Statement

From Module 1

Reflection 1

Who are you now — after the work you've done?

Present tense. Grounded in your values. Read it out loud.

What You've Built

Before you make your commitments, take a minute to see how far you've come. Each module gave you something specific.

Module 1 — Identity + Values
You know who you want to be
Module 2 — Motivation
You know what actually drives you
Module 3 — Game Time
You have tools for pressure moments
Module 4 — System
You have a daily structure
Reflection 2

What surprised you most about what you learned?

Five Commitments

These aren't goals. Goals are about outcomes — winning, stats, results. Commitments are about who you choose to be. Read each one out loud after you write it.

1
Identity
I commit to showing up as...
The kind of athlete you want to be. Every practice, every game.
2
Focus
When I lose focus, I will...
Your reset. Your way back. Make it automatic.
3
Preparation
Before every competition, I will...
Your Prime routine. The non-negotiable things you do to get ready.
4
Reflection
After every competition, I will...
Your Learn routine. How you close the day and carry it forward.
5
Non-Negotiable
The one thing I refuse to compromise on is...
Your line in the sand. The thing that defines you no matter what.

Build Your Playbook

This is a one-page document you can print, show your coaches, share with your parents. It pulls everything you've written across all five modules into one place.

Final Reflections

Take time to think about what's changed and what you want to carry forward.

Reflection 3

What's different about how you see yourself as an athlete now vs. when you started?

Reflection 4

What's the one thing you want your coaches or parents to know about the work you've done here?

Reflection 5

One year from now, what do you want to look back and say about this season?
